Joe Bravo purchased a small barber shop business in the Braddock Square shopping center and renamed it Bravo's Barber Shop. Just two years out of barber college and three years removed from high school, Joe, at just 21 years old, embarked on a career that has lasted 50 years and counting.
Bravo's Barber Shop has been more than just a place to get quality haircuts. It's been a place to catch up with other locals, a welcomed stroll down memory lane, and for many, a much needed "therapy" session. Not only do his clients come back for the haircut, they come back for that famous unabashed Joe Bravo humorous character.
